- 11pm PT - Players on the forums report that the game is down for Android users.
- 11pm PT - PX team sees no increases in new CS tickets reported or any increases in crash reports from players.
- 2/4/22
- 5:30am PT - An Engineer investigates reports and suspects that this might be an issue based on the player’s region.
- 8am PT - Engineers begin investigating this issue as a regional issue that impacts a number of players based on their location.
- 8:30am PT - As Engineers continue to investigate the issue, DM puts PvP shields up in Atlas and PX works on comms.
- 9am PT - Engineers revisit previous/similar issues from the past for further investigation, while reaching out to the Support Team of our Service Provider.
- 9:30am PT - QA team shares test results, which suggest various players from the U.S. playing on Android are impacted.
- 10am PT - Engineer team is in talks with our Service Provider for a fix after being able to reproduce this issue. The team continues to investigate scope of issue (how many players potentially impacted and where), and possible other root causes.
- 10am PT - Support Team from our Service Provider informs us that they have deployed a fix. The team is able to confirm that it works. Additional testing begins to confirm the fix. The team decides to leave shields up in Atlas until they can confirm hours of stability.
- 11:00am PT - The team continues to monitor the fix deployed and game stability.
- 12:40pm PT - Player-facing update regarding apology gift and ETA for Atlas PvP sent out
